Is the hot air balloon ride at Teotihuacan safe?

Yes. Our pilots are pre-vetted and take your safety seriously. They do pre-flight safety checks, constantly inspect their balloons, and are all certified hot air balloon pilots. I'm afraid of heights. Is this for me?

If you're deathly afraid of heights, no, this isn't for you. You'll be approximately 500–2,000 feet in the air. However, it's completely safe.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If conditions are unsafe, we will either reschedule you for another day, or offer a full refund.

Are there food and drinks available at Teotihuacan?

Where are the Teotihuacan pyramids?

Teotihuacan is ~50 kilometers (31 miles) northeast of Mexico City. When you book with us we drive you there (~1 hour). We provide all the transportation for you, pay for all the tickets (air balloon, Teotihuacan entrance, toll-booths, and parking) and give you a tour of the pyramids after your flight.

How long does the hot air balloon ride at Teotihuacan last?

The flights last about 45 minutes, depending on the weather

What should I wear for the flight?

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Bring a jacket too, because it can be a little cold at the pyramids in the early morning!
