I am someone who usually hates group tours. Teotihuacan is located about 50 kilometers (31 miles) northeast of Mexico City. The drive typically takes one hour,  making it a perfect day trip from Mexico City. An Uber trip alone costs ~$1,000MXN (one way)... and you don't get a tour.
